Humanstuck Girls

I was itching to draw the girls as humans. ♥

I've never done this before but I'm going to preemptively disable comments to save everyone an argument and headache. This drawing caused a bit of a stir on Tumblr, and I don't want comments of "YOUR OPINION IS WRONG" to start an unnecessary (and frankly, silly) fight. This is how I imagine the troll girls might look as humans. It is solely my opinion and was intended as a fun, lighthearted drawing. :]

With her love for archeology and antiquities, my idea of Aradia was loosely inspired by Gemma Chan's character from the "The Blind Banker" episode of Sherlock. Nepeta is based on how my friends dressed during high school. The contrast of ivory skin with naturally dark hair is simply how I've always imagined Kanaya. Terezi is my very favorite (and patron) girl so I wanted something fun. Being freckled and strawberry blonde just felt appropriate to me because of her personality and love for the color R3D. I once saw a human verson of Vriska with dyed blonde hair and dark roots, now I honestly can't imagine her any other way. And Feferi is so happy, I always imagine she'd spend a lot of time in the sun and at the shore so giving her lightweight, comfortable, and colorful clothing felt appropriate.
