One of seven covers for my fall semester senior thesis project. I ended up making seven mini comics (about 50 pages all together) with ink and a nib pen.

The comics are jokes or puns, making light of the somber punishments in hell associated with each specific deadly sin. Example: Wrath is to be dismembered alive in hell; instead I drew a mini comic about a girl with a terrible temper going in for a haircut, and ending up with all of her hair completely hacked off.

Each sin also has an animal association, which I incorporated as a spirit-like projection from the sinner. These manifestations of sin would appear from within the individual as they performed their sinning act, and would disappear once something humbling occurred.
